KRISTIN KAYE is a writer and the founder of Duff Dinners, a periodic supper club in the woods outside of Portland, Oregon. Her book, Iron Maidens: The Celebration of the Most Awesome Female Muscle in the World, was shortlisted for the Oregon Book Awards and named by Utne reader as “one of 5 new titles for women who resist easy definition” in 2006. She recently completed her novel, To Catch What Falls, about our relationship to landscapes and giant trees. When she isn’t working on books, she indulges her tre curiouso nature as a freelance writer and ghostwriter and puddles around Portland with her husband and daughter.
